Ian Maitland

This is Ian’s first production here at TheatreWorks and he is wickedly excited to join the team. He has been involved in theatre since his freshman year of high school performing such roles as Sheridan Whiteside in The Man Who Came to Dinner and Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast. In the fall of 2011, Ian began attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute to study Robotics and Biomedical engineering, but has not lost his connection to theatre. In his more recent years, Ian has been actively involved in WPI’s theatre program with the school’s theatre groups VOX, Masque, and M.W. Rep. Ian recently directed Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit for M.W. Rep and is preparing to perform for VOX in Jekyll and Hyde the musical as John Utterson. He would like to thank the cast and crew, as well as Brendan Fox for calling him out of the blue and asking if he wanted to audition for a musical in 20 minutes.
